A traditional restaurant with a lot of flair. Nice personel. Pleasant place. The beer garden is wonderful in summer. Nice views of the Ludwigskirche and the square around it. What bothers a bit is the street right next to it. But you can not have it all. Definitely worth a visit.

Tasty, cheap and uncomplicated. Home-made dishes. Top in summer! You can sit outside very well, especially at Corona times. Always my pleasure!

Haven't been there for a long time - a mistake, as it turned out during the lunch break that we recently spent there. Friendly service, delicious food just great to sit outside under the big trees.

Great place. Were arranged to watch football here. The boys had roulades, I had schnitzel with chips and salad. Large portion and tasted great. Price absolutely fine. Service was very friendly. Just a cool shop to watch football, but also just to eat. Top

Certainly one of the most beautiful, rustic pubs in Saarbrücken, which invites you to linger not only in summer with the seating on Ludwigsplatz. The small menu provides delicious dishes, the daily changing soups are very tasty. The audience is mixed, the service generally friendly. The Ludwig is not in the immediate center, but worth a detour in any case. If you are already on site worth a look in the Ludwigskirche. The entire building ensemble on Ludwigsplatz is simply worth seeing and makes it one of the most beautiful places in the southwest of Germany ....

Saarbrücken secret tip! I've been taking the chili here for years. But also the steak, the spaghetti and the stuffed are very good. In summer you can sit outside. Usually there is public viewing.

Atmosphere 1 A, service very nimble, food exquisite, the price moderate, the audience civil and artistic-intellectual (art school). In a word: on a summer's day like a visit to paradise.

Service and location great

A lovely location for breakfast in the morning. It's located in a scenic and quiet square. Very nice breakfasts (croissant and coffee , BIG baguette, lots of butter and honey and ? marmalade). Also try the Marmorkuchen cake with a coffee. Friendly and helpful staff. Pretty good price also.

Awesome! Location is really nice with Ludwigskirche view. Good ambience and nice vibe! Food is delicious. Preis is fair, studentrabatt. Couscous + Mergues is my fave! Staffs are friendly. It is recommended if you are near Alt Saarbrücken.

I have been here more than once, never let me down. Try the chilli con carne or any of the spaghetti's they have. The place has a nice vibe and friendly staff. In summer you can stay outside and enjoy the sun with a beer and food. The location is not in the city center, but close to it. With direct transport to it.

Very nice located small Bistro-Pub near the beautiful Ludwigskirche in Alt-Saarbrücken. Especially the outdoor terrace is very nice. Audiences are often students of the art school or students. The prices here are rather cheap. The food, however, is not good: Lots of finished products, little flavor. One would like to see that the Fürst Ludwig would shrink the menu and woul serve better food (of course for slightly higher prizes). The service here is a bit slow and not ideal. But the Fürst Ludwig derserves 3 stars because of the cozy atmosphere.
